Dukkah is a Middle Eastern and Egyptian nut, seed, and warm spice blend. We’ve made our own version with some of the usual ingredients and added a blend of dried seaweeds to it. The seaweed add flavour and enhances the tastes of the nuts, seeds and spices. It is traditionally served as a dip with olive oil and bread but there are many ways to use it – try some of these:
How to use:
- Use it as a dip with your favourite bread (pitta, bagels, flatbreads) with olive oil
- A crust for meat, chicken or fish
- A nutty topping to add texture and flavour to soups, salads or roasted vegetables (try carrots or cauliflower)
- Instead of croutons, try finishing a simple salad with dukkah!
