Vegan Seaweed Crackers

Vegan Seaweed Crackers recipe using seaweed flakes sprinkles into mixture



  • 125g plain/spelt flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 20g non-dairy spread
  • 75ml oat/soya milk
  • 2-3 teaspoons  The Seaweed Food Co. Mixed Seaweed Flakes


    1. Measure out the flour, salt, sugar and non-dairy spread into a bowl. Rub the spread into the dry ingredients until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
    2. Stir in the Mixed Seaweed Flakes  - you could also add seeds such as fennel or sesame seeds at this stage. 
    3. Add the milk and bring the mixture together with your hands.
    4. Knead gently, wrap and put into the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.
    5. Lightly grease a tray and preheat the oven to 180C.
    6. Flour a work surface and roll dough out thinly. 
    7. Cut into squares or the shape you like and place onto baking tray.
    8. Bake in oven for approx 10 minutes until light brown. Cool on a wire tray.
    9. Eat with your favourite topping or dip.  Store in an airtight container.
